  • The Basic account costs $29.95 per month or $215 per year. It increases your import limit to 100 trades per month from a single account and enables you to export trade data to Excel. It also includes a P&L simulator and allows you to analyze your trades by intraday timing.
  • The Pro account costs $39.95 per month or $279 per year. It offers unlimited trade imports and lets you track up to 50 accounts. The included features are the same as for the Basic account.

Trademetria doesn’t itself provide any charting software. However, it does link to charts by TradingView. To access these, just click on the Reports tab and then select My Portfolio.

In the list of securities, there’s a chart icon. Click on one of these, and a new browser tab will be created with a chart, courtesy of TradingView.

Highlights include:

  • Many graph styles, including Point & Figure
  • Technical indicators
  • Company events
  • Video and still image screenshots
  • Great deal of customization

Trademetria also has a built-in trade journal where you can keep notes about your trades. The journal allows you to enter notes for any single trade as well as to create notes about your overall day in the market. These can be saved with lots of details, such as exchange fees, images, tags, and so forth.

Trade tracking and analysis are at the heart of Trademetria. The platform enables you to quickly review your trade history and see what positions are currently open in your portfolio.

You have a large number of options to filter your trade history, too. Trademetria has parameters for date ranges, instrument type, broker, maximum profit or loss, day of the week or time of day, and more. In addition, Trademetria enables you to create an unlimited number of tags to categorize your trades according to the strategy used or the motivation behind the trade. You can filter trades using these custom tags.

Using these filters, you can view a set of key metrics for any subset of trades. Key metrics include your profit factor, expected trading return, win rate, maximum drawdown, total commissions paid, and more. In aggregate, these metrics offer a quick overview of whether you’re performing well or poorly over a specific subset of trades.

Once you have your trades imported and logged, you can run some reports. The goal here will be to analyze your performance.

Under the Reports tab, you’ll find several tools. Examples include:

  • Key Metrics: This feature will display all sorts of stats. Examples include daily win rate, maximum drawdown, and average hold time for winners.

Day Trader Report: This tool will display your intraday account growth and other details for a single trading day. These include:

  • Average net per trade
  • Win rate
  • Profit factor
  • Total trades
  • Trade calendar: This is a nice way to see your day-to-day performance in a grid view.

If you want to dig into your trading performance in greater depth, Trademetria allows you to slice up trades in several different ways. You can look at trades by the time of day they were entered, by whether the market was up or down on the days you traded, or by your custom strategy tags.

Trademetria also has a specific view for options trading, with trades broken down by popular strategy types. Another useful tool is the P&L simulator, which allows you to compare your real P&L against your P&L from just a subset of your trades.

For example, you can use the simulator to see how your overall profitability compares to your potential profitability if you only placed trades that correspond to a single strategy tag.

The simulator can be helpful for identifying which strategies are dragging down your overall profitability and which strategies are outperforming your average trade return.

Trademetria has a handful of tools that are designed especially for day traders.

For example, you can pull up a customizable entry chart that shows your entry and exits overlaid on top of one-minute candlesticks.

There’s also a ‘Day Trade Report’ that shows a summary of the current day’s trades, including your profit and loss, win rate, and profit factor.

Trademetria supports an extremely wide range of assets, not just stocks. You can import data for options, futures, forex, cryptocurrency, and CFD trades. All of these asset classes are supported by Trademetria’s analysis features, and most tools enable you to filter your trades by instrument type.

Importing trades with Trademetria is very straightforward. The platform is compatible with over 120 popular brokers, so you can simply export trade data from your broker and upload it to Trademetria.

The platform also supports auto-syncing for more than a dozen popular brokers and trading platforms. These include:
